Fete de la Jeunesse

National Youth's Day was celebrated in Cameroon on February 11. Everyone gets a day off from work, and there's a huge parade of all the schools in the district in the morning, then sports and games in the afternoon. Last year, I was stuck at the back of the crowd in the hot sun. This year, my NGO reserved front row seats for me to see the parade. Cameroonians are really into their parades- it's the same thing every holiday all over the country. Some schools just marched, others had choreographed songs and dances:
